RANTINATING THE COUNTRYSIDE!!!!11

So now that the RIAA is cracking down on the file-sharing community, I have been forced (for the time being) to try alternative means for getting files, such as BitTorrent. While I'm not a big fan of the program, I have to admit that it has done a rather good job of getting me Fastlane episodes, so I'm happy. I doubt I'll use BT to get anything other than Fastlane episodes, as I'm more the WinMX trader type. Besides, I haven't found nearly enough Japanese files to get through BT, so it loses big points there.

What's the deal with website theft? I mean HTML is by far the easiest language to learn. It boggles my mind how people readily go out and steal other people's work and call it their own rather than just learn HTML and make a site themselves. Granted, some people are creatively challenged and can't design their way out of a paper bag, but still, there is no excuse for website theft. Several times my site designs have been "borrowed." I should mention though that with the exception of one instance, all the people who copied my sites were friends of mine. While I don't mind friends copying my sites as much, I do find it slightly annoying. I don't make a big deal of it though because usually the designs taken are for old/closed sites. Don't get me wrong though, this is not an invitation to go steal my designs. If people keep it up, heads are going to roll. Besides, my designs aren't that great, I mean come on people. If you're going to steal something, at least steal something worth the effort. Some say mimicry is the sincerest form of flattery, but those people have obviously never had their sites "mimicked." =o) Or was that mockery? Whatever it is, I think I should start charging people. hmm..

Wow, my fingers hurt. Essay tests suck, especially when they require me to write for an hour and a half straight. Not to mention getting up way early to study for it. Bah. On the plus side, I got a new cell phone! Can't beat a phone that has Tetris, Space Invaders, and Breakout on it. chuuch.
