in space no one can hear you scream

Wow, what a relaxing weekend. Friday night I slept 13 hours, last night I slept about 10. It feels good to be done with classes, and even though I still have 4 finals this week, I really don't care at this point. I just feel so good to be done. I still have to work this week and next week, but work is fun so it's all good.

I did get an exchange for my defective copy of Alien Quadrilogy. No hassles, I just showed it to them and they let me go and get another off the shelf. Pain free. This time I shook the box and made sure there were no loose dvds inside, and when I got home I carefully inspected each disc for possible problems. Everything seems to be in proper condition, and I haven't experienced any problems so far. The box opens huge since it has to hold 9 discs. They all unfold horizontally to a length somewhere between 5 and 6 feet. It's all a bit unwieldy but cool just the same.

I spent the day yesterday watching all four Alien movies trying to decide my rankings for the series. I haven't quite come to a decision yet, but I can tell you this much: I love those movies. This box set should keep me busy for a good while :) Right now I'm watching all the movies with the commentary. I'm watching the first one right now, it's almost done. I won't have time for the rest until later in the week though thanks to work and finals. Nevertheless, it's good stuff. :D

Christmas is just around the corner. I wish I could get as excited about it as I used to when I was a kid, but I guess that's part of growing up. I don't know what I'll be receiving for christmas, but it'll most likely be money and/or dvds. Or maybe I'll finally get that flamethrower I've been asking for every year since I was little. Who knows!
