After yesterday's weirdness, I just had to go buy the Office Space dvd, so after work I went over to Best Buy to find it. I searched and searched and couldn't find it so finally I asked one of the workers if they had it. Apparently they've discontinued selling it by itself and the only way to buy it is to get it bundled with Super Troopers. I haven't seen Super Troopers, but I hear it's funny so I figured why not. It was only $20 for the bundle. Before I found that though, I found the extended edition of the Half Baked dvd, so I just had to have that too. Unfortunately (or fortunately I guess), after I found the Half Baked dvd, I found the Kagemusha Criterion Collection dvd. It's directed by Akira Kurosawa of Seven Samurai fame, so it has to be good. Plus I really like the name 'kagemusha' and have wanted to see this film for a very long time. So, what began as a mission to get one $14 dvd became a $70 venture. I just wish I had time during the week to watch these dvds. Of course, if I did have the time during the week, I'd almost certainly spend it sleeping.
